This song, ‘Drift,’ is an anthem for my journey through the unimaginable. My “Lily” persona became about my bravery and survival. The only metaphor that could capture the depth of what I went through was the catastrophic melting of glaciers—a slow, relentless decay that led to an invisible tsunami in my life, bringing great personal cost.
