Message to a Survivor
what happened to you doesn’t define you, you have bigger and greater things in store for you. You have and always with be worth love, worth life, and so much more
Message of Healing
there’s different ways of healing sometimes it’s quickly and sometimes it takes years, i personally struggle with reminding myself im not in that situation anymore or the people who are around my babies won’t hurt them. but for me personally what has and is still helping me heal is finding out who I am outside of the trama, and looking toward to I am becoming, lot of communication with other and myself, therapy and reminding myself I am worth it!
as a child I went through abuse physical and sexual, the same for my mom. It didn’t even with her, me and my brothers saw the pain and trauma she endured as well as us until she left. When I was a child I promised I’d never fall for a man like my father and ex step father until I did, I ended up not keep that promise and stayed I finally realized why my mom never left his empty promises felt like home, he was what I thought I needed..but I did leave, and now I have two beautiful babies who will never experience that generational trauma or pain because “it ended with me”
